JANET WALKER BRYCE

Born Abt: 1880 Glasgow Scotland ,Father: John Bryce-Railway Employee, Mother: Janet Walker
Married: George Benjamin Brown 1904 Melbourne Victoria Australia
Had the following Children : Margaret 1906-1907, Janet May 1907-, Kathleen Maud 1908-1964,
Grace Elizabeth Ida 1910-1911, Laddie 1919-1919, Robert Leonard 1921-1997

I have not been able to confirm anything about Janet from before her marriage to George Benjamin brown
In Scotland I have found John Graham Bryce married to Jessie Walker
They had Robert Walker Bryce, John S Bryce and Jessie born 1877.
John and Jessie both died and their daughter Jessie was a Ward in 1891.
In 1900 a Jessie Bryce age 22 immigrated to Victoria on Board the Ortona.
I am not sure if this is the Janet /Jessie I am looking for.

THOMAS MCLEARY/MCCLEARY

My grandfather Thomas Mcleary was born 1888 Wilsontown Scotland. His mother was Marion Farm and his father was also named Thomas and he was a miner.
Thomas married Edith Emily Noel from Brighton Sussex in 1918 and they came to Australia from England in 1925
with the Group Settlement Scheme.They settled in the South West of Western Australia with their children.
Thomas was in the Army from 1941-1943.

Thomas and Edith separated and Thomas moved on.He was last seen around the early 1950s.
The family heard he became a Sailor and he was in the Eastern States of Australia somewhere.
I have found the death of a Thomas Mcleary in Newcastle NSW at the Shalamah Private Hospital in 1970.
I purchased the death certificate but all it tells me is that this Thomas was born in Scotland
and that he was 82 and a Seaman at the time of his death.
This makes it possible that he was my grandfather but does not confirm it.
If anyone can help I would appreciate it as I have been trying to find him for a long time.

THOMAS GOLDING

Born Abt 1834 New South Wales,Australia I think his fathers name was Thomas and his mother Caroline.
Thomas married Isabella Purchase/Morvell (Isabella was married previously to Richard Purchase)
Thomas and Isabella had the following children : Caroline 1857-? Ann 1859-? Caroline 1863-1941
Isabella Morvell 1866-1942 Thomas 1866-? Louisa 1869 -1910 and Florence 1876-?.

If you have any information about Thomas before his marriage to Isabella I would love to hear from you.

RICHARD MORVILLE/MORVELL and JANE DONNELLY

Richard was born abt 1810 in Yorkshire England and died in 1874 Ballarat, Victoria, Australia.
His father was also named Richard but I am not sure of his mothers name.
He married Jane Donnelly abt 1822.
Jane was born in Glasgow, Scotland , she was the daughter of Felix Donnelly

This couple are very hard to find and any help would be appreciated.

ALOYS FREDERICK WILLIAM SIDLER

Aloys was born abt 1825 Hamburg, Germany.
He arrived in Adelaide, South Australia on board the "Australia" in 1850.
Aloys married Sarah Maria Nottage in 1852, Sarah was the daughter of Thomas Nottage
and Sarah Quy from Henham Essex England.
Aloys and Sarah had Eleven children and lived around Meadows and Dashwoods Gully in South Australia.

I have not been able to find any information about Aloys before he came to Australia.
